Here you will find all important information – from A to Z – at a glance:


Arrival: Your room will be ready for occupancy at 3 p.m.

Allergies: Kindly contact our housekeeping or reception.
We will prepare your room with appropriate bedding.

Adapters: Various adapters are available at the reception.

Airport: Airport Nuremberg approx. 80 km, airport Munich approx. 250km.

Air condition: The air condition is only for cooling down your room.
To heat it up please use the radiator. Please keep all windows closed while air condition/radiator is running.

Additional blanket/pillow: A staff member will gladly bring one to your room.


Bathrobe: Bathrobes are available at the reception.

Breakfast: Monday – Friday from 06:30 until 10:00 hours and
Saturday, Sunday, public holidays from 06:30 until 11:00 hours.

Baby cot: Please ask our reception desk.

Banks: Our reception will gladly give you directions to the nearest bank branch in Bayreuth
or to cash points (ATMs) in the Rotmain Centre.

Bar: Our hotel bar is opened daily from 06:30 a.m. until 01.30 a.m.

Bike rental: Bicycles for your excursions can be organized from the reception desk (chargeable).

Car rental: Our reception would be pleased to make arrangements for a rental car.

Credit cards: The following cards are accepted by the hotel:
American Express, Visa, Diners Club, EC-Card, MasterCard.

City map: City maps in different languages are available at our reception desk.

Conferences & Banqueting: Seven meeting rooms and a large hall offer space for up to 750 guests.
Our conference team  will gladly show you our conference rooms. Please call 250 to contact our banquet manager.

Complaints: We kindly request you to contact our reception (109) immediately if you have problems
or if there is something that does not meet your expectations.

Computer terminal: You will find a computer with internet connection and a printer in the lobby
which can be used at any time.

Copy: You can purchase copies at our reception (chargeable).

Cufflinks: There is a limited number of cufflinks which can be borrowed at the reception.

Currency exchange: Please contact our reception for currency exchange.
Processing fees will be charged.


Departure: We kindly ask you to leave your room until 11 a.m.
You can leave your luggage in our luggage compartment at any time.
Dinner: Dinner is served “à la carte” in our restaurant from 12:00 noon to 02:00 p.m. and from 06:00 to 10:00 p.m.

“Do not disturb”: If you do not want to get disturbed, please put the “do-not-disturb” sign outside of your door.
If you do not want to receive phone calls, please inform our reception team.

Doctor: Please contact our reception if you need a doctor or dentist.


Emergency: In emergency cases please contact our reception, telephone 9.
You will find the emergency exit at the end of each floor or at the main stairways.
Please follow the signs. In case of fire, please do not use any elevator.

Excursion: Bayreuth has much to offer you. Please contact the reception for details and reservations.


Flowers: Our staff will gladly help you purchasing flowers.

Fax: You can receive (free) or send (chargeable) faxes at any time at our reception desk (+49 (0) 921 / 727-115).

Fitness- & sauna area: The fitness and sauna area is located on the 6th floor.
The sauna area is open daily from 05.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m., the fitness area from 6.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.


Gift vouchers: The perfect gift for your friends and relatives. Every package is available as a gift certificate.
Please ask our reception for further details.

Gas station: There is a gas station opened 24/7 approx. 5 minutes from the hotel.
Please ask our staff for directions.


Hairdresser: Please contact our reception if you need a hairdresser.

Hotel reservation: Please refer to our reception. Our team will gladly help you to make a reservation
in our hotel or one of the four other ARVENA hotels.

Hiking: Please contact our reception team.

Hygiene: In case you forgot something at home, you will get some sanitary articles like toothbrushes or shavers at our reception.


Information: Our reception team will be pleased to help you.

Internet: Our free computer terminal is located in the hotel lobby.
You can also use the wireless access to the internet in the entire hotel. The access codes are available at our reception free of charge.

Ironing: We will bring an iron as well as an ironing board to you room on request.

Jewellery: In the lobby there are showcases with jewellery to buy at the reception.


Key: Your key can be deposited on the reception.


Laundry change: We change your bedding and towels daily on your demand.

Laundry service: Please contact our reception or housekeeping for cleaning your laundry.
If you hand over your laundry until 9.00 a.m. to our reception you will receive it back the same evening (workdays only).
Laundry bags, forms and prices can be found in your wardrobe.

Lights: Please put your key card in the box right next to the door to switch on lights and electricity.

Lost property: If you lost or found something, please contact our reception.

Luggage service: If you need assistance with your luggage, please do not hesitate to contact our reception.

Luggage storage: You can keep your luggage in our luggage compartment at any time.


Minibar: There is a minibar with beverages which is refilled daily in every room.
Please state your consumption when you check out.

Messages: Messages will be stored at the reception desk.

Massage: Our different massages can be booked via our reception.


Night porter: If you need assistance during the night, please don’t hesitate to contact our reception team (dial 9).

Newspaper: You can buy a variety of newspapers and magazines at our reception.


Packed lunch: If you have to leave early, you can order a packed lunch.
Please inform our reception the evening before.

Pharmacy: Please ask our staff for directions.

Pets: Pets are welcome to our hotel. Please note that there is a fee of EUR 12.00/day.

Post: You can buy stamps and postcards at the reception desk. Our staff also takes your deliveries.

Pillows: Our housekeeping will bring another one to your room. Smaller pillows are available as well.


Radio: By the use of your TV set you can receive three radio stations (channels 1-3).

Railroad- connection: Our reception would be pleased to provide information about the German rail
and other international transportation.

Restaurant: Lunch from 12.00 noon until 2.00 p.m.
Dinner from 6.00 p.m. until 11.00 p.m.

Room service: Room service is available during service time of our kitchen.
An extra charge of 5.00 Euro will be added to the bill. Drinks can be ordered all day and night.
To get your breakfast served at your room, please inform our reception the day before.

Reception: Our reception is staffed 24 hours. You can reach them by dialling 9.


Shopping facilities: Our reception will show you the best places for shopping.

Sewing service: You will find a sewing kit in your wardrobe.
Our housekeeping could do sewing work for you (chargeable).

Safe: You will find a safe deposit box in your wardrobe.
If you would like to lock your valuables into the main safe, please contact our reception.

Shoe cleaning: There is a shoe cleaning machine on the ground floor.

Slippers: We will gladly bring slippers to your room on request.

Spectacles/ glasses: We have various reading glasses in different strengths at the reception.
We will gladly lend  you some during your stay.


Table reservation: Our reception will book you a table in our restaurants. Dial 9.

Television: Channels 1-3 are radio stations. The TV stations start at channel 4.
You can find a channel list and a TV program in your room.

Taxi: The reception will organize a taxi for you.

Technical support: You can receive technical support upon request.

Telephone: Every room is equipped with a direct-dial telephone. Please dial “0” to get an outside line (chargeable).
For a room-to-room-call, just dial the room number. For reception please call “9”.
Your phone number to receive calls is +49 921 / 727 +room number.

Telefax: Your facsimiles will be sent and received by our reception (+49 (0)921/727-115).

Tobacco: Our cigarette vending machine is on the ground floor next to the reception.
Our staff will gladly give you a “ZIGGI” card to activate it.

Ticket reservation: Our reception will organise concert or theater tickets for you.

Towel change: Please put your towels on the bathroom floor if you want them to get changed.


Umbrellas: You can get an umbrella for a small deposit at our reception desk.

Underground car park: Is at your disposal for 6,00 EUR/day.


Wake-up call: Our staff will be glad to take your request for your personal wake- up call.
